- "Customer," "you," or "your"** refers to the person booking or using our services
- "Services"** includes all pilgrimage packages, travel arrangements, personal care assistance, and related offerings
- "Booking"** refers to any reservation made through our platform
- "Personal Care Assistant"** refers to our trained travel companions assigned to assist senior citizens
3. Eligibility and Registration
3.1 Age Requirements
- Our services are primarily designed for *senior citizens aged 60 years and above*
- Bookings can be made by family members or guardians on behalf of senior citizens
- All travelers must be medically fit to undertake the chosen pilgrimage
3.2 Accurate Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and booking. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
4. Booking and Payment Terms
4.1 Booking Process
- All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation
- Booking confirmation will be sent via email/SMS within 24-48 hours
- Full itinerary details will be provided upon confirmation
4.2 Pricing
- All prices displayed on SacredTrails.in are in Indian Rupees (INR)
- Prices include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated
- We reserve the right to modify prices without prior notice; however, *confirmed bookings will honor the price at the time of booking*
4.3 Payment Schedule
- *Advance Payment:* 30% of total package cost at the time of booking
- *Balance Payment:* 70% to be paid 15 days before the journey commencement date
- Payment can be made via credit card, debit card, net banking, UPI, or bank transfer
4.4 Payment Security
- All online transactions are processed through *secure payment gateways*
- We do not store credit/debit card information on our servers
- Payment confirmations will be sent to your registered email/mobile number
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1 Cancellation by Customer
- 30+ days before departure: *90% refund* (10% administrative charges)
- 15-29 days before departure: 75% refund (25% cancellation charges)
- 8-14 days before departure: 50% refund (50% cancellation charges)
- Less than 7 days before departure: *No refund*

5.2 Cancellation by Sacred Trails
In the event of force majeure, natural disasters, political unrest, or circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to cancel or modify bookings
- *Full refund or alternative arrangements* will be offered if cancellation is initiated by Sacred Trails
- We are not liable for any incidental expenses incurred due to such cancellations
5.3 No-Show Policy
Failure to show up for the scheduled departure without prior cancellation will result in *forfeiture of the entire booking amount*
5.4 Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be processed within *15-21 working days*
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment method
6. Travel Documents and Medical Fitness
6.1 Required Documentation
- Valid government-issued photo identification (Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, or Driving License)
- *Medical fitness certificate* for high-altitude destinations (Char Dham, Kedarnath)
- Prescription and medical history for medication management by Personal Care Assistant
6.2 Medical Fitness Declaration
- Customers must *disclose pre-existing medical conditions* at the time of booking
- We reserve the right to request medical clearance for certain destinations
- Sacred Trails is not responsible for health complications arising from undisclosed medical conditions
7. Services Included and Excluded
7.1 Included Services
- Door-to-door pickup and drop-off
- Dedicated Personal Care Assistant
- Accommodation as per itinerary
- Transportation in AC vehicles
- Temple darshan arrangements
- Meals as specified in the package
- Travel insurance (basic coverage)
7.2 Excluded Services
- Personal expenses (laundry, telephone calls, tips)
- Meals not mentioned in the itinerary
- Entry fees to monuments/museums not covered in the package
- Additional helicopter services or premium darshan tickets (unless specified)
- *Medical expenses beyond basic first aid*
- Any services not explicitly mentioned in the package inclusions
8. Travel Insurance
8.1 Basic Coverage
All packages include basic travel insurance covering medical emergencies and accidental death
Insurance coverage details will be provided at the time of booking
8.2 Extended Coverage
- Customers are encouraged to purchase additional travel insurance for comprehensive coverage
- We can facilitate premium insurance packages at additional cost
9. Liability and Responsibilities
9.1 Sacred Trails' Responsibilities
- Provide services as described in the confirmed itinerary
- Ensure trained and verified Personal Care Assistants
- Maintain quality standards for accommodation and transportation
- Provide *24/7 customer support* during the journey
9.2 Customer Responsibilities
- Arrive at designated pickup points on time
- Follow instructions provided by Personal Care Assistants and guides
- Respect local customs and religious sentiments at pilgrimage sites
- Maintain respectful behavior with fellow travelers and service providers
- Inform Sacred Trails immediately of any issues or concerns during the journey
9.3 Limitation of Liability
- Sacred Trails acts as an intermediary arranging services from third-party vendors (hotels, transport operators, temples)
- We are *not liable for delays, cancellations, or service quality issues* caused by third-party vendors
- Our liability is limited to the package cost paid by the customer
- We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
- We are not liable for injuries or accidents during the pilgrimage except where directly caused by our negligence
10. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, landslides)
- Extreme weather conditions
- Government restrictions or lockdowns
- Political unrest or civil disturbances
- Terrorist activities
- Pandemics or health emergencies
- Temple closures or religious restrictions
11. Modification of Itinerary
11.1 By Sacred Trails
- We reserve the right to modify itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances, ensuring comparable alternative arrangements
- Customers will be notified immediately of any significant changes

- Itinerary modifications requested by customers are subject to availability and may incur additional charges
- Modification requests must be made at least 10 days before departure
12. Conduct and Behavior
12.1 Expected Conduct
- Customers must behave respectfully at religious sites and follow temple protocols
- Dress codes and religious customs must be observed as instructed
- Photography restrictions at certain temples must be respected
12.2 Right to Terminate Services
Sacred Trails reserves the right to terminate services without refund if a customer engages in:
- Disruptive or abusive behavior
- Illegal activities
- Behavior endangering safety of self or others
- Damage to property or religious sites
13. Intellectual Property
All content on SacredTrails.in, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of *Sacred Trails* and protected by Indian intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.

15. Customer Reviews and Testimonials

- Reviews must be honest and based on actual experiences
- We reserve the right to remove reviews containing offensive language or false information
16. Dispute Resolution
16.1 Complaint Procedure
